IN THE MIDDLE OF THINGS, Marc Ganzglass

On the roads and in the workshops of the countryside we will sort through the inherited structuring of things. Using the resources at hand we will record our findings and in some way gain a momentary stay against the confusion.
On the one hand Production can be seen as a scientific practice, an activity in relation to a set of contingencies.
On the other hand, it is a ritualistic practice, a rite of passage and a time in which ordinary relations are suspended.
My work attempts to find an underlying balance between these two realms, between the subjective and the empirical, between the technical and the creative.
